The problem

Most scraping tools assume you can write a selector. Anyone who can't is stuck copy-pasting out of the browser, one row at a time.

What I did

  1. Built a tool where you select the region of interest rather than writing code
  2. Parsed and extracted the matching content server-side with BeautifulSoup
  3. Returned structured output through a Flask API rendered live in the browser

The outcome

Non-developers can pull structured data off a page themselves, in real time, without touching a selector.
