The problem
Recommendation is the classic problem of turning behavioural history into a useful ranked list — a good way to learn the mechanics of similarity and scoring.
What I did
- Built a recommender over user watch history
- Computed similarity between titles to rank candidates
- Served the results through a Django front end
The outcome
A working recommender that taught me the data-modelling side of personalisation.
